Chương trình sẽ cung cấp cho học viên các kiến thức và kỹ năng cơ bản cũng như chuyên sâu cần thiết cùng với môi trường học tập đạt trình độ quốc tế. Mục tiêu của chương trình là sau khi tốt nghiệp, các Thạc sĩ khoa học máy tính có năng lực tự nghiên cứu và tổ chức nghiên cứu, có khả năng tiếp tục nghiên cứu ở bậc Tiến sĩ; có khả năng công tác tại các trường đại học và viện nghiên cứu, có khả năng tham gia các dự án phát triển/khai thác/quản lý hệ thống thông tin; có khả năng tiếp cận một cách khoa học đối với các vấn đề mới trong CNTT; có năng lực giao tiếp về chuyên môn bằng tiếng Anh.

Carnegie Mellon University’s specialization in Computer Science has been top-ranked in the United States for many consecutive years.
The program will offer basic skills and intensive knowledge required along with the learning environment of international standard. The program’s goal, after graduation, MCSs get competence of self-study and research organizing, have ability to continue research at the doctoral level; capable of working in universities and research institutes, have ability to take part in the information system development/exploitation/management projects; capable of approaching new issues in information technology scientifically; to have the power of specialized communication in English.
